This video compares a selection of small diaphragm condenser microphones with cardiod pattern (settings flat, no padding) to see how the differ as drum overheads. Mics used are Oktava mk-012, AKG c451 and tbone EM700. The cymbals are all Zildjian K custom special dry. No EQ, processing, compression or reverb has been added. Just raw audio panned L/R.
